Money Laundering Manual now Available |
We are very pleased to announce that ICPA members can now purchase a Money Laundering Manual at a Special Discounted price from the Mercia Group.
This Manual incorporate everything that any practice could require to be compliant and has the added bonus of a Mercia Seminar CD on the 2007 Regulations and their latest Update Course.

The ICPA and Diamond Online |
The ICPA initiative with Diamond Discovery Software continues to bring benefit to our members and the launch of Diamond Online providing a cost effective web based accounting solution to members is a direct result of this initiative. Free 2008/09 Tottel Core Tax Annuals for ICPA Members |
Members FREE 2008/09 Core Tax Annuals “Income Tax", Corporation Tax" and "Value Added Tax” by Tottel Publishing are being delivered/posted now.
These 3 books will only be made available to ICPA member practices that were members by 26 September 2008. We will have to be strict on this deadline as stcoks of the books are limited.
A charge of £10 postage and packing has been made to members October Direct Debit subscription.
The subscription will revert to the normal monthly amount from November onwards.
Tottel Publishing have also announced that the remaining 3 books which form the remainder of their entire core tax range namely “Capital Gains Tax”, “Inheritance Tax” and “Trust and Estates Tax” as well a CD-Rom containing the text of all 6 books is available to ICPA members only at the special price of £60 only. Accounting Practice Magazine

The Autumn issue of our quarterly magazine “Accounting Practice” has now been distrbuted, any members who have not received their copy should contact us to ensure we have the correct address.
This issue included articles by all our usual contributors Paula Tallon of Chiltern Tax, Glyn Mummery of Vantis Business Recovery Service, Paula Fisher of Practical HR and for the first time Mark McLaughlin author and Managing Editor of TaxationWeb.
This issue also contained details of a very special “Money Back” offer brokered with Diamond Discovery relating to the launch of “Diamond Online” the exciting new web based accounting solution. This offer is ONLY available to ICPA member practices.

HMRC have now issued their updated guidance MLR 9 Registration Notice on their website at

This latest update clarifies matters and concerns raised in the past in connection with ASPs and TCSPs.
The update contains details of the latest registration dates.
The ICPA Money Laundering Regulations have also been updated and members can view them via this site.

The October 2008 edition of our CPE is now available to members via this site.
This issue contains the new HMRC Money Laundering Code of Practice, the latest examples of Engagement letters for Tax Work and the Mercia Training Lecture "Company Law Update" for all things Companies Act 2008.
