CCAB Institutes Recognise ICPA
|
The ICPA were the FIRST non CCAB organisation to be granted permission to adopt the Joint "Professional Conduct in Relation To Taxation".
Prepared jointly by the CIOT, ATT, ACCA, ICAEW, STEP, ICAS and IIT the guidance has been reviewed by HMRC and is mentioned in the recent Consultation on Working with Agents.
All the Institutes listed above gave permission for ICPA to adopt and utilise the document which represents a major breakthrough for the ICPA as an organisation.
The "Professional Conduct in Relation to Taxation" has now been formally adopted by the ICPA and together with our Revised Code of Practice is available to members from this site. |

ICPA Small Practice Fee Protection Scheme Rates held for another Year |
We have agreed with Peninsula Taxwise that all ICPA members who have a fee protection scheme in place at August 2011 will NOT suffer rate increases at their next renewal.
As HMRC investigation activity has increased significantly in the last year fee protection costs have obviously increased also.
BUT not for ICPA Scheme holders.

ICPA Resolve IXBRL Problem with Launch of Comprehensive Accounts. |
The ICPA in response to members concerns over IXBRL filing issues launched "Comprehensive Accounts" in January 2011 in conjunction with the developers Diamond Discovery.
Comprehensive Accounts is a joint venture with software developers Diamond Discovery Software and the ICPA.
The package will produce Accounts for small limited companies adopting the FRSSE, including abbreviated accounts for companies house filing.
Sole-Traders and Partnerships will follow.
By simply entering in the closing TB and answering software driven questions final accounts can be effortless produced with Companies Act compliance issues becoming a thing of the past.
